2.   Provincial Convention of the New Democratic Party of Prince Edward IslandJune 24 & 25, 2011 – “Riding the Orange Wave to a New Democracy on PEI”

Friday, June 24– St. Paul’s Church Hall, corner of Prince Street and Richmond Street, Charlottetown from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. with Guest Speaker Robert Chisholm, the newly-elected Member of Parliament for Dartmouth-Cole Harbour and former Leader of the New Democratic Party of Nova Scotia, an Issues Panel on ‘The Right to Fair Employment and Adequate Income’, Small Group Discussions and a Social Reception.

The Convention continues on Saturday, June 25 at the Murphy Community Centre, 200 Richmond Street, Charlottetown from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00pm with Issues Panels on ‘A Prescription for Democratic Health Care ‘, ‘Building a Sustainable Democratic Economy’, and ‘Cultivating Healthy Rural Communities’ , Small Group Discussions and much more.

3.   23rd Summer Bioenergetic Retreat in South Rustico, PEI

4.  PEI Citizen Advocacy’s Move-A-Thon – June 18

Hi Everyone,

This is an important fund-raiser for us!

Enjoy yourself and walk or move a gentle one kilometre down by the river and through the woods!  PEI Citizen Advocacy is holding its fundraiser Move-a-thon on Saturday, June 18th at 2 pm in the Robert Cotton Park in Stratford. (The trail is wheelchair accessible). There will be  food and drinks , musical entertainment and door prizes.
